This Privacy Policy explains how Ashti Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (“Bharatrath”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects personal and business information when you access or use the Bharatrath Digital Platform (BDP).

By accessing or using the Bharatrath Digital Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent for specific processing activities.

2.1 Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:

• Name, phone number, and email address
• Business name and business details
• GST and other business information provided by you
• Product information, images, and descriptions
• Orders, invoices, and transaction-related information
• Customer and supplier information entered by you
• Documents and other information uploaded to the platform
• Information provided when you contact our support team

2.3 Payment Gateway

Payments made through the Bharatrath platform may be processed by third-party payment service providers such as Razorpay and other payment partners.

Depending on the payment method used, these providers may process information such as:

• UPI details
• Transaction IDs
• Payment-related information
• Relevant bank or payment account information

Payment service providers process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable terms.

We do not store full debit card, credit card, or banking credentials on our servers.

2.4 Design Tool Add-ons (Canva and Figma)

Bharatrath offers add-ons for Canva and Figma (the “Design Add-ons”). They let designers who work with Bharatrath (“Partners”) prepare website templates in those tools and send them to the Bharatrath Digital Platform.

What we collect through the Design Add-ons

When you use a Design Add-on, we process only what it needs to work:

• Your Bharatrath Partner account details (name, business name and email address) when you connect the add-on to your Bharatrath account.
• A sign-in token that keeps the add-on connected to your Bharatrath account. On Canva, sign-in uses Canva’s own secure connection process. We never see or store your Canva or Figma password.
• The content of the design you are working on while the add-on is open: its pages, text, colours, fonts, layout, and the images placed in it.
• The design file you choose to send with “Send to Bharatrath”, and the results of the template check.

What the Design Add-ons do not do

• They work only on the design you have open, and only while the add-on panel is open.
• They do not access your other designs, folders or files in Canva or Figma.
• They do not send your design to Bharatrath until you press “Send to Bharatrath”. Before that, the add-on only contacts Bharatrath to sign you in and to load icons and fonts from our library.

How we use it

We use this information to check your design against Bharatrath’s template rules, to convert the design you send into a website template, to show it in your Bharatrath Partner account, and to credit you as “Made by [your business name]” when the template is offered to Bharatrath merchants under the Bharatrath Partner terms.

Sharing

We do not sell your designs or personal information. Templates you send are shared with Bharatrath merchants only as described in the Bharatrath Partner terms. Canva and Figma process your use of their tools under their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

Designs and templates you send are kept while your Partner account is active. You can disconnect the add-on at any time by removing it from your Canva or Figma account. You can ask us to delete your account, your sent designs or your templates by writing to [email protected].

Canva and Figma are trademarks of their respective owners. Bharatrath is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Canva or Figma.

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect to:

• Provide ERP, POS, billing, website builder, and other platform services
• Create and manage your account
• Process orders and payments
• Generate invoices and business records
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues
• Send OTPs, service notifications, invoices, and important account-related communications
• Improve platform functionality, performance, and user experience
• Monitor and analyze platform usage
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, misuse, and security incidents
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information where necessary with trusted service providers and partners that help us operate and provide the Bharatrath platform, including:

• Payment gateways and payment service providers
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
• Email and SMS service providers
• Analytics and technology service providers
• Customer support and technical service providers
• Government, regulatory, law enforcement, or other authorities where required by applicable law

We require our service providers and partners to process information for legitimate business purposes and in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.
